Patrizia and Orazio are typical Italians, crazy in love and full of refined elegance. The two love birds couldn't wait to get married.
I first met the couple when the 3 wonderful wedding Planners, Francesca, Rosalinda and Claudia introduced me to them. After they looked at my work on my website, they decided to entrust me with
their special day.
From day one, I already knew I was going to be photographing a very special and stylish couple. Their choice of wedding planner gave that one away pretty quickly. I love working with
stylish couples, and capturing that personality with my camera lens in the most unique and unexpected way possible.
When I was told that the wedding would take place in Praiano, at Grand Hotel Tritone, a one of a kind hotel that houses a dream wedding chapel that is full of character. I couldn't wait. The
wedding chapel inside the hotel is like no other, it's carved out of a rock and is located in one of the most evocative corners of the Hotel. It's probably one of the most romantic places you'll
ever see. A venue full of character makes the most beautiful wedding photos, it was an honour to be chosen to capture the bride and groom in this unique location location.
Praiano is a town in the province of Salerno, which itself is on the Amalfi Coast. The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist attraction, and for all the right reasons. The coast's 50-kilometre
stretch offers stunning views of sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastelcoloured fishing villages. What better place to celebrate the love between these two
beautiful people than Paraino?
The big day came, and just like I had already guessed, the couple showed up in very elegant wedding attires. The bride wore a fitted white dress with lace bodice, a pair of white diamante studded
sandals and a delicate veil. The groom chose a traditional suit, in dark blue and slate blue, plus a pair of black dress shoes to match. I didn't expect any less from a stylish young couple,
Patrizia and Orazio looked every inch ready for a fun day, and you could just tell they were perfect for each other.
The photographs taken in the chapel were indescribable. The rough limestone walls, the romantic lights, and the intimacy of the event was perfect for a couple in love. Everything in there was so
well staged and made photographing the couple a dream. Both looked happy as they were cheered on by their friends and families who were in attendance, I couldn't be more happier at every
shot.
After the wedding ceremony we took advantage of the panoramic views, taking as many photographs of the couple as possible, capturing them under the beautiful sunlight in Praiano. Next, we headed
for the reception area of Grand Hotel Tritone, where the couple and their guests
enjoyed some aperitif before the wedding lunch. At one point, I stole the couple away for some more photographs, with the magnificent scenic mountains and miles of blue waters serving as a
backdrop in almost every photo. After the beautiful snaps, I returned them to their excited guests who celebrated and cheered in excitement.
The day ended with the cutting of the cake on one of the hotel's stunning terraces that overlooked the Amalfi Coast. It was quite a day though, unique. special, and most of all, filled with the
love felt by Patrizia and Orazio.
